HOW

ref.http://www.widescreenmuseum.com/oldcolor/handtint.htm

Approach:

The story does not follow a realistic approach. It deals with absurdity,

but this absurdity has a strong grounding of my own reality.

I believe absence is stronger than presence. Presence of absurdity makes the reality even more present and personal since the interpretation of reality is then left to the viewer.

What i want to show in my work is the idea which hides behind so called reality. I am seeking for the bridge that leads from visible to invisible. The Magic of dreams as means of revelation and personal (hence social) liberation. -Amos Vogel (Film as a subversive art)

Visual Treatment:

Visual treatment of the film originates from its content.

Since the film revolves around the play of light and shadow, to accentuate it, the film will be shot in black and white.

Usage of colour will be limited as an added layer and it will change according to the narrative demands.

In early days, before colour stock was developed, black and white films were hand painted, each frame individually, these colour films do not have a realistic look but visually they are extremely striking.

Film will follow the same method only images will be painted digitally.
